Saddleback Communications Launches Salt River Connect for Business Customers

By

Saddleback Communications, a business enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, debuted Salt River Connect as its new dedicated brand for services to its business customers.

Salt River Connect serves commercial organizations in the Loop 101 business corridor and across the greater Scottsdale area. Customers served by Salt River Connect include SRP, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Colorado Rockies, Scottsdale Community College, Walmart, Topgolf, Home Depot, the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs and more.

The most important thing for Community members to know, according to Justin Catlett, president and CEO of Saddleback Communications and Salt River Connect, is that Saddleback’s residential services remain unchanged.

3 Takeaways:

  • Salt River Connect serves commercial organizations in the SRPMIC and across the greater Scottsdale area.
  • Business technology solutions for Salt River Connect customers include managed connectivity, networking, cybersecurity, cloud solutions and AI-enabled services.
  • Saddleback Communications’ residential services remain unchanged.

“Residential internet and voice customers will continue to receive the same service, billing and local support through Saddleback Communications, under the same name,” Catlett told O’odham Action News. “In fact, our updated internal alignment will allow for more dedicated focus on bringing additional services and support to residential customers as well.”

SRPMIC government buildings, schools and Community facilities will continue to receive the same care, support and service.

Catlett said that the decision to launch Salt River Connect was about creating a clearer and more focused identity for the business services side of Saddleback Communications.

“Saddleback has long been known for reliable voice and internet services in the local Community. Over time, the needs of business customers have grown beyond traditional communications into a broader set of technology needs, including managed connectivity, networking, cybersecurity, cloud solutions and AI-enabled services,” said Catlett.

Ownership and accountability remain rooted in the Community, according to Catlett, who said the same engineers, operators and support staff who built and manage the current infrastructure are helping to carry this work forward into Salt River Connect.

“This transition reflects continued investment in technology infrastructure, business services and economic development while keeping the organization’s commitment to the Community at the center,” said Catlett.
