Enchant Brings Holiday Magic to Community

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community members, employees and their families enjoyed two special nights at Enchant, the holiday-themed live entertainment concept being held at the main ballpark at Salt River Fields this holiday season.

The SRPMIC hosted Community Night there on November 30 and SRPMIC Employee Appreciation Night on December 5. Guests were able to shop at The Village, a marketplace around the concourse, before heading down to the field for ice skating and entering the Light Maze.

The Light Maze is a long and winding pathway that tells the story of a mischievous elf named Eddie and his pal Sparky the Reindeer. They have misplaced eight toys meant for children on Santa’s list.

At the entrance of the maze were “snow” machines that filled the Christmas tree-lit air with excitement and brought smiles to children’s faces.

“I really like the quests and finding the toys,” said 11-year-old guest Robin Lewis. “The lights are so pretty, especially the big tree.”

Seven-year-old attendee Brinleigh Byrne said she found all eight toys.

“We checked off each toy as we found them,” said Byrne. “I really liked the ballerina, airplane and the teddy bear.”

At every corner of the maze was a new surprise and an opportunity to take a family photo. Hired actors dressed up as elves, dancers and guardians of the different segments of the maze.

Children were also able to meet Santa Claus at Santa’s Landing and take a photo with him.

Enchant, The Mischievous Elf is open at Salt River Fields through December 31. For more information and ticket prices, visit https://enchantchristmas.com/scottsdale-az-salt-river-fields/.
