The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community celebrated its most outstanding employees by hosting a fourth-quarter recognition breakfast at the Courtyard Marriott Scottsdale Salt River on Oct. 15.

Nearly 50 Community employees were recognized for their outstanding performance. 

“There is so much to do, and it’s so key to the professional services that we provide this Community. I mean it, from the bottom of my heart, we really appreciate all that you can do here today,” said Community Manager Bryan Meyers in his opening remarks. 

During the celebration, each employee who was recognized received a special certificate along with a mug that says “Be a Nice Human.” Everyone enjoyed the fresh fruit and food provided while they played a trivia game, and laughter filled the room as many of the questions and answers were unmistakably funny.

“I want you to take a look around you. Take a look at who’s next to you. These are your peers who are [making] an exceptional difference in the Community every day,” was heard during the closing remarks. “Thank all of you for making a huge difference in the Community. Every day your work matters. So, get out there and have a great rest of your day.”
