For quite some time, Congressman David Schweikert (R-AZ) has held mobile office hours at the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community’s Round House Café as a way to connect with the Community.

On March 12, Christian Curry and Mathew Kim, two members of Congressman Schweikert’s office staff, returned to the Community and established a mobile office in the Sun Room at Round House Café on behalf of Congressman Schweikert. They wanted to get a firsthand look at the needs of the Community members on a one-to-one basis.

Curry and Kim spent the morning and part of the afternoon answering questions regarding official documentation for employment, water rights and more. Later, they enjoyed lunch at Round House Café.

Congressman Schweikert’s office can help Community members receive help with federal government issues such as Social Security, Medicare, veterans’ claims, military benefits, congressional internships, IRS concerns and passport/visa questions.

Individuals can contact Congressman Schweikert’s Scottsdale office directly at (480) 946-2411.
