The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community thrift store, Helping Hands, has reopened with new facility improvements, additional merchandise and more. The store was closed for the majority of June as it underwent significant upgrades and improvements.

The thrift store, which is open to the public, reopened on July 3 with a brand-new front entrance shade to protect shoppers from the sun throughout the summer months. Additionally, the store maintains an inventory of new merchandise from name-brand labels. All items undergo a strict and thorough inspection before being placed onto the sales floor.
